Agrivoltaic – Energy from the farmland

Agrivoltaic is a hybrid solution that involves the combination, on a single land, of some types of integrated crops with the generation of renewable energy produced by a photovoltaic system.

Renfic is a development company specialized in high-efficiency agri-voltaic projects.

We offer landowners tailor-made solutions based on the specific needs of each land, which aim to Sustainability, preserving soil quality, mitigating the effects of the climate crisis in agriculture and promoting biodiversity of flora and fauna.

We implement the most efficient and innovative technologies for the construction of agrivoltaic fields, taking into account the type of specific culture or cultures to be combined with the production of green energy.

Renfic has the experience and skills to follow all the design phases, selecting the most suitable model for agricultural activity, promoting the development of crops and livestock activities in the spaces below and between the rows of panels, making the most out of the land.

About Us

“Sheep are late risers. You won’t hear them when you enter the site for an early morning walk. What you hear first are insects: crickets, little frogs. It feels alive to you,” said Lexie Hain, a farmer in the Finger Lakes region of New York and director of agrivoltaics for Lightsource bp. “The flock loves to lie under the panels, so finding them often involves an element of surprise.”
